~~~Gratitude~~~
Today I am Grateful for the first REAL snow!  I wanted to go snowshoeing, but at 5 degrees I changed my mind.  Plus, I got my fair share of exercise shovelling and this snow is going no where anytime soon...plenty of cold weather in the forecast.  I have a nice vegetarian stew on the cookstove.  DH is clamoring for early dinner and biscuits.  So I will be quick today...I think he deserves it after plowing! <3
And a nice New England Poet for today...
Snow-flakes
BY HENRY WADSWORTH LONGFELLOW
Out of the bosom of the Air,
      Out of the cloud-folds of her garments shaken,
Over the woodlands brown and bare,
      Over the harvest-fields forsaken,
            Silent, and soft, and slow
            Descends the snow.
Even as our cloudy fancies take
      Suddenly shape in some divine expression,
Even as the troubled heart doth make
      In the white countenance confession,
            The troubled sky reveals
            The grief it feels.
This is the poem of the air,
      Slowly in silent syllables recorded;
This is the secret of despair,
      Long in its cloudy bosom hoarded,
            Now whispered and revealed
            To wood and field.
It is my intention, each Sunday, to share something that fills me with Gratitude.
I write ~~~Gratitude~~~ with the wavy lines to represent the gratitude ENERGY~~~~~!
I hope you will join me and share your gratitude moments.
~~~Amen, Blessed Be, Namaste'~~~
